La Laguna

San Cristobal de la Laguna, more commonly called La Laguna, is the ancient capital of Tenerife which lost its primacy in favor of Santa Cruz around the 20s of the last century. It will no longer have the scepter of power but it has undoubtedly remained the cultural and nightlife queen of all Teneride. In addition, the university and bishopric also remained. At night in the historic center you can dance to the rhythm of house and ethnic music while during the day it resumes the tranquility and its historical dimension which in 1999 also earned it the certification of UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Pyramids of Guimar

The Pyramids of Guimar, which are located in the municipality of the south-east of Tenerife, represent a real mystery, perhaps the Egyptian piramadi. No one has yet managed to find an explanation of their usefulness, but above all no one can figure out who they were built. The pyramids are astronomically to project their shadow during the summer and winter solstices. The mystery is that the Guanches, the ancient inhabitants of the Canary Islands, were not at an advanced people, indeed. They lived in caves, they argued to the pasturelands and used garments made with goat skin. . How could they build such sophisticated pyramids and so similar to those found in Egypt, Mesopotamia and South America?
