Nassau is the capital of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. The city has a population of around 250,000.
The city is located on the island of New Providence, which has as its main characteristic of being a very business-oriented city and was named in honor of William III of England, Prince of Orange – Nassau.

10 min by car from the Cruise Port. Swim with Dolphin in Blue Lagoon is one of the top attractions in Nassau. Full island packed with any kind of facilities and dolphin adventure.
Cabbage Beach
10 min by car from the Cruise Port. Located close to the Atlantis Resort, it’s a great choice for any beach lover! Being a very long sandy beach, you can either enjoy water sports, or just relaxation in a more secluded spot. If you keep walking, leaving the crowd back, you will arrive in a very calm environment. There’s a little rock at the end of the beach, which make this place good even for snorkeling, being populated by many colorful fishes.
Cable Beach
15 min by car from the Cruise Port. Just outside downtown Bahamas and easy to access. It’s calm and not packed with people, but still many water sports, outdoor restaurants and a golf course are available. You will find rentals of jet ski if you are looking for adventures. This beach of the is beautiful, quiet, fun and a great choice for swimmers of all ages. It’s also a superb location for snorkelling, right in front of the beach you can rent all the equipment.
Cove Beach
10 min by Car from the Cruise Port. It’s just next to the Atlantis Resort. Easy access, crystalline water, soft white sand, perfect for adults or families too.
Junkanoo Beach
5 min walking from the Cruise Port. Known as “spring break beach”, you may already imagine: easy to access, right in front of the port, local kiosk bars available, public toilets. The perfect solution also to enjoy if you are short of time.
Love Beach
20 min by car from the Cruise Port. White sand, natural rock pools, and comfy hammocks or cabanas. One of the least crowded beach of the island. Children’s playground and freshwater pool are available, making this beach perfect for families.
Paradise Beach
10 min by Car from the Cruise Port. It’s located in Paradise Island beside the Atlantis Resort and Cove Beach. It’s a mile-long haven of white sand and turquoise water and also a great place for snorkeling or just relaxing and enjoying the Bahamas view.
Saunders Beach
10 min by car from the Cruise Port. Sheltered by Coral Island, the water off Saunders Beach near Goodman's Bay. It’s calm and ideal for family swimming thank to the playground with swings and slides, plus restrooms onsite.

30 by car from the cruise port. It combines beautiful nature trails, historical ruins, amazing beaches. You can organize an ATV tour or relax in Jaws Beach and find the famous underwater mystic sculptures.

The first residents were 17 stranded dolphins and 10 sea lions whose home in Gulfport (Mississippi) was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. Dolphin Cay is also the Caribbean’s premier marine animal rehabilitation facility.

Pirates of Nassau Museum
5 min walk from the Cruise Port. Enter the colorful and reckless world of Pirates of Nassau Museum, a pirate museum for adults and children. Discover the history of these outlaws Caribbean and walked through the model of a pier pirate, complete with Galleon. The colorful museum, filled with wax figures and scenes of pirates, appeals to children, but also offers a lot of juicy information to entertain adults.

5 min by car or 15 min walk from the cruise port. The Queen's Staircase are a set of 65 steps (102 feet), carved out of solid limestone rock by 600 slaves between 1793 and 1794. It is a major landmark located in Nassau, Bahamas. The stairs are located at Fort Fincastle Historic Complex near Bennet's Hill in Downtown Nassau next to Princess Margaret Hospital and Grosvenor Campus of the University of the Bahamas. 10 Min by walk from the Cruise Port. Government House is the official residence of the Governor General of the Bahamas, based in Nassau. It was built in colonial times and was the residence of the governor of the Bahamas. Later he continued in the role of official residence of the Governor General's office later political independence from the United Kingdom.
