Alhambra of Grenada

Just an hour and 30 minutes by bus from Malaga, on the slopes of the mountain range of the Sierra Nevada, is one of the most beautiful destinations in all of Spain: the city of Granada, with the Alhambra Palace and Generalife Gardens, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Built in the mid-eleventh century by the Nasrid sultans, the last Muslim dynasty to reign over Spain, the Alhambra is a fortified palace that offers spectacular views of the Andalusian countryside from its hilltop position. The stunning Moorish architecture of the Alhambra is a real feast for the eyes, while the Generalife, architect or garden, looks like a paradise of gardens with views, and tranquil vistas in the most elegant Italian Renaissance style.

Jardin Botanico La Concepcion

The Jardin Botanico La Concepción is a lush botanical garden created in 1856 by some aristocratic families of Malaga, botanical enthusiasts. This oasis in the heart of the urban context, which now belongs to the city council botanical "Ciudad de Málaga", you can admire some species of exotic plants, tropical and subtropical, from Europe, America, Asia, Africa and Oceania. MIjas

In the first hinterland of the fantastic Costa del Sol, about one hour by bus from Malaga, Mijas is a small, charming Andalusian town with cobbled streets and typical whitewashed buildings. Thanks to the panoramic position at an altitude of 428 meters above sea level, the area of Mijas, Pueblo is famous for the wide panorama that sweeps from the African coast to the mountains of the Atlas, the rock of Gibraltar to a vast tract of the Costa del Sol.

Nerja Caves

With a coach trip lasting an hour from Málaga port will reach the coastal town of Nerja, home to a famous network of caves rediscovered by a group of cavers friends in 1959. The caves were inhabited since 25,000 BC approximately up to the Bronze Age, and rock paintings are proof. Considered one of the most beautiful complexes of its kind in the whole of Europe, the cave system is formed from various rooms with the features stalactites and stalagmites, including the splendid the Cataclysm room, which boasts an impressive central column 32 meters high perpendicular and the so-called Hall of the Nativity.

Plaza de Toros "La Malagueta"

A very particular attraction that unites almost all the main Spanish destinations is the Plaza the Toros. Incredibles games between bulls and bullfighters that leave no doubt unforgettable memories. A ring of 52 meters in diameter, which can accommodate approximately 10,000 people with seating on two superposed levels. Inside, of course, there are the stables, pens, infirmary and even a bullfighting museum that collects the most significant images of Malaga bullfighting since the opening of the facility in June 1876.

The Alcazaba, which in Arabic means "fortress" is the oldest work of Muslim Spain, built between 1057 and 1063 on a rock on which stood an ancient Roman ruins and defensive bulwark of Phoenician origin. It is located at the foot of Mount Gibralfaro and behind the ancient Roman theater. The entrance to the structure, by calle Alcazabilla, is represented by the door of the columns and a slope that leads to the Arc of Christ. Inside the double concentric walled enclosure of the Alcazaba, whose path climbs up the hill, you can see Roman ruins, including fortified gates, statues and columns with capitals, the enchanting gardens of wealthy Arab beautiful greenery.

The Malaga Cathedral

There are, in fact, the finish of the main façade and the south tower. Do not miss a visit to the side chapels, which are home to precious works of art such as paintings by Pedro de Mena, Luis de Moralès, Jose de Riberas and Alonso Cano.

The Picasso Museum

The city of Málaga is famous worldwide for being the birthplace of the most famous and influential painter of the history of twentieth century, Pablo Picasso. But the real "monument" dedicated entirely to works by the artist is the Picasso Museum, founded in 2003 to realize Picasso's dream that his art had a symbolic own place in his hometown. The Picasso Museum brings together more than 200 works from the private collection of two of his family members. To complete your walk "Picasso" do not miss a visit to the Casa Natal Pablo Picasso, within the current building of the Fundación Picasso. Open to the public since 1988, the residence where he was born artist is on two levels that keep personal items of the Picasso family

Pursuing your own passions can seem a lonely road in the short run, carries the risk of alienating those you love, but in the long run you gotta do what you love, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind 🌊🌏☀️

| CHANGE YOUR LIFE 👊🏻

.
.
.
Tu es à la croisée des chemins.
.
A cet endroit précis, la plupart font demi-tour. La plupart abandonnent.
.
