Zubi Zuri in Basque language means "white bridge" and is the name chosen by the famous architect Santiago Calatrava for the bridge he designed for Bilbao, also became a symbol of the rebirth of Basque city. The Calatrava bridge is a pedestrian bridge structured to be suspended on the Nervion River Arch. But Zubi Zuri is not a simple bridge like everyone else. It is one of the most interesting works of architecture built by the famous Calatrava, author of, among other things, of the futuristic Bilbao airport. The Zubi Zuri Bridge resembles a stylized fan, light and dynamic, which blends perfectly with the surrounding urban landscape, in line with the image of the "new" Bilbao.
