Parque National del Teide

The Parque National del Teide, about an hour's drive from Santa Cruz, is a naturalistic beauty of great tourist importance. To admire all its beauty, it is necessary to reach the summit, either on foot or even via the comfortable cable car. Clearly the health conditions greatly affect the choice of how to reach the top but it is certainly something that is quickly worth it. Along the way there is an embarrassment of choice regarding what you can see: the Roque Cinchado is a pinnacle of petrified lava which is about 2000 meters high, the Pico Viejo, the mountain responsible for the last volcanic eruption in 1798, up to the Teide Observatory, one of the most famous astrological centers in the world.
