Cinque Terre National Park

At about an hour and a half from the port of Livorno you can visit the "National Park of the Cinque Terre": Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. Not many percisamente to know the names of the small towns that are part of this unique area but definitely came the echo of what they represent. Nestled like little jewels in the beautiful coastline of the Italian Riviera, they have been declared World Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. Portovenere is the first stop, a beautiful seaside village beautifully set in natural surroundings. After visiting the small village with its beautiful promenade and its quaint corners, straight from the harbor you can take a cruise that will show you the beautiful natural scenery of the coast to Monterosso al Mare, the largest of the five villages. Walking through the streets of its charming old town, where stands the church of St. John the Baptist dating from the fourteenth century.
